​Areas of Expertise: Maternal Nutrition and Capacity-Building

Zeina Sifri is a public health nutritionist with over 20 years of experience in development. She joined the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in June 2020 and her focus areas are maternal, infant and young child nutrition. She manages a portfolio that includes Country Scale up of Multiple Micronutrient Supplements as well as Leveraging Social Sector Platforms for Improved Nutrition. Before joining the foundation, Zeina was an Associate Director and Senior Technical Advisor at Helen Keller International (HKI) where she worked on nutrition as well as neglected tropical diseases. Prior to that she worked in Asia and Africa with HKI as well as the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations on nutrition and food safety.

Zeina holds a Master’s Degree in International Nutrition from the University of Montreal and a Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics and Human Nutrition from McGill University.
